My current opponent is playing Axis...he did an All-France and war-dec Spain strategy....his Barbarossa started late...and he's in the same dilemma (happily for me).

Not sure what's exactly going on with his Pro-Axis Romania, but I suspect it may have something to do with his decision to attack pro-axis Spain.

Edit: I believe Romania has been stuck at around 75% mobilization towards the Axis for sometime..and I haven't seen him spend any money on diplo either.

JJR did you DoW Spain? If so, that's it.

Blow it off and take them out(Romanians) they're not that much help for Barbarossa and the extra plunder you can use to buy German Corps.

Yes it is the attack on Spain that does it now...

Thanks everyone. Appears to have been the early Spanish Gambit which caused this.
