ok, originally posted in the Tacview post under the main forum page but no response so reposting here:

Look's like all the ####n90.Bathymetry.srtm files are corrupt. instead of downloading file loads a unreadable script in browser.

Did you SaveAs when trying to download them? I don't have TacView, but I sampled the e20n90 data and looks ok on the surface, what makes you think they are corrupted?

Some browsers will interpret certain starting bytes of the data as indicating text and choose to display the file vs download, you may have to explicitly tell it to do so for those.

Any feedback on this ?
