This is welcome news, as some of us wait (patiently?) for the release of "Second Front" on Steam.

Field of Glory Medieval needs a patch, which it will get. And "War at Sea" on Steam is a definite wait-and-see.

I can't help but remember the "glory days" when we saw great wargames released like WitE. But I may very well be looking at the present through rose-colored glasses.

Nevertheless, I do feel unfulfilled when it comes to wargames this past year or so. Maybe just me...

If you have not seen this it is well worth a look. I was concerned this might be another Panzer Corps type clone. Nothing could be further from the truth. If you don't want to watch it all, just forward to the game play. It was that that sold me on the game.

Thank for the find, this looks intriguing. So many games popping up on steam, and for some reason their filters and algorithms miss most of what I'm interested in.

Interesting video, looks pretty good. I'll probably buy it, even though I don't really care for North African stuff.

I hope it's possible to switch from real time mode to turn based within a scenario. That would be ideal.

Andy, not sure if you can switch during a scenario but the designer has now stated the game will be able to be played turn based (WeGo) as well as real time. Good news I think, as it gives us a choice. I understand, the real time can be played really slow too. I will almost certainly try both.
