I was wondering if it is not already there is there a ranking system to see which officer is best for each council without out looking at each individual officers stats to find out who is best for each council.

Its not possible, because players emphasize different things.

Some players want their Eco councilor to be a researchbot and desire Inventor/Science. Others want that sweet private investment rolls, so they focus Oratory. And others don't care about the immediate skill level but the long term skill cap, so they zoom in on INT/CHA/Cap.

Oh, and that's before politics and personality are added in. Do you really want someone who likes Meritocracy when you are planning a Democracy build? Another guy might have EZ politics you like (i.e. +++Militia and nothing else), but his Ego/Ambition is 100 and as a result he'll probably pick up whatever politics is convenient for him.

It would be great to have a Suitability report by Council. It will be very convenient to see all leaders' suitability for every council and maybe this is what Landser34 meant.

Vic, will you consider adding it, please?

Sadly, there is none really.
The only place to see someones suitability score for a job, is if you see him in the list of possible candidates or if he is already in said job. Even just being able to transfer people out of existing council positions in the new opened one would be worth a lot.

Not that suitability score is universally valuable to begin with:
The thing is that it only looks at current skill. It does not account for Stats and Learning Capacity at all.

It can be short term beneficial to have someone with the right skills right now and you can train a replacement via the Advisor role.
But longterm only the (skillgroup) stats and capacity mater.
There is no "one size fits all" solution, but just displaying a handfull more information in the screen and including existign councilors in the selection would help a ton.

Yeah, so in a way this feature is already in the game, it's the Leader Management Window :
You add the columns that you care about, then you sort by clicking on the column name.

I do have a request of my own : clicking on the "Portrait, Name, Job" column should sort by (last?) name.
