I have installed SC WiE on a different PC and am unable to start a multiplayer PBEM++ game (Challenge ID 11364). It seems to download but when it goes to start, a message 'Unable to locate 11379.dat' is shown and the turn doesn't start. I looked for this file on the old PC but it wasn't found there, either. What can I do about this problem?

I believe the answer is wait for the devs to supply you a .dat file to use, based on when I and others have had this problem before. It may be helpful to post the game's challenge ID here.

I think it is only needed for the replay. I used another .dat file from the same folder and renamed it.
The replay then was strange but after that it worked, also for later turns.

I did a more thorough search and found the dat file. When I transferred it to the new PC, the turn played as normal. All good!
