i just tried to preorder wite2 including the boxed version but the homepage says that it is no longer avaialable. No matter if i try via paypal or creditcard:

Order creation failure due to problematic input.. This item is no longer available for purchase. Please refer to the seller's website for more information.

And why is the expected release 08/31/2021 ????

I've just raised a ticket with Slitherine Support as when I tried I pressed the place order button, and its just sitting there saying processing. Been sitting there for around 45 mins now

I pre-ordered but did not get any order confirmation (but the game is listed in "My Games").

Just for the record,
All worked fine for me, like you wrote incl. Serial and order completion info - afterwards, just to see what would happen I clicked download and that’s where there was a “placeholder text” informing me that the actual game will be made available later etc.
