For two days, every time I have logged in to download my game, the screen stays with the message 'Communicating with Server' and tracks through the years 39 to 45 underneath.

Not downloading at all. Anyone experiencing same ?

No, did you update your Windows 10 OS two days ago?

Yes I think I may have done on laptop. Latest features from memory.
Is this an issue ?

I don't know. The game is running fine on my side. Perhaps the update has activated Windows Defender or something like this.
Obviously, you can go on Internet with your laptop, correct?

Did you try doing a pcap of what's going on when you go on multiplayer?
Anyone else on the forum has encountered the same issue?

I restored laptop pre last Windows update and I've dowmloaded game software to another laptop .........

still same result : stuck at the 'Communicating with server' message and not downloading game

Very likely it has to do with your firewall or security though.

That section of the game hasn't changed in many months and has been working correctly.

Could be a corrupt game. Is it on all games or just this one?

The downloading error has returned on Turn 153.

I already restored the game. I think I forgot to message back. Check.

I keep getting this error, i unistalled my avg antivurs software and closed my windows firewall protection. Unistalled the game, delete all the folders in my documents and in Locallow.reinstalled the game and run the update wizard. Bud it keeps getting stuck here. Or not login in. I dont know what to do.
