The Future of WitE

WitE2 is going to be released soon. I wonder whether the forums of WitE 1 would be maintained; whether the WitE program is going to upgrade, bugs to be fixed. Any idea of its future?

There’s little to no activity on this forum since “everyone” have moved over to the new WitE2 forum.
I’m probably one of the very few still waiting for the final WitE patch. Hopefully it will appear in the not so distant future.

If would be perfect if and only if
a final WitE patch (bug free, in particular, in the Editor) + a final WitE manual.
I am not sure what is going on in "Updated Manual v3 Beta".

How playable is the latest beta? Are there any major bugs? I would like to start one final campaign bevor switching over to the new game but since it takes a certain amount of time to finish it, it should be a stable game version. Thanks for some answers!

Latest beta is pretty good and almost everyone plays on that now. One of the challenges though is you need to combine the information from the updated manual with all the patch notes from v1.12.x to get the full picture.
