[1.08.03b] Air OHQ commander can die in attacks

So does the OHQ commander sometimes hop in a plane as well? I thought they would be flying a desk.
Sure Land OHQ commanders may sometimes "lead from the front" and get killed - but is this intended for air as well?

In the Manual it says under Air OHQ Commander Skills:
Against the Odds + Lead from the Front
Also used by Air Commanders

They propably hop into a 2-person trainer variant (wich have to exist, how else do you train pilots?) and coordinate the combat from close distance - but keep out of the actuall exchange of bullets and missiles.
However they are still in the same airspace so they can be targetted by AA and enemy fighters.

I just picture something like Richthofen up in a small plane during the Poland campaign.
