Not sure if this is right or not but the BB Idaho (New Mex class) only has a endurance of 7500 whereas most other BB's have 13000+. Should this be right, a BB has less endurance than some DD's??

The Idaho was class of '17. An old ship. I don't know the
formula used by the game designers, but she would not have been a fuel-efficient model. Nor sporty. More the good-personality type. But only in Idaho.

Then you won't mid sending her back when she arrives.

From Friedman, US Battleships
As built, the endurance of the New Mexico class was:
5120 Nautical Miles/12 knots (6400/12 "clean")
1931 Nautical Miles/20 Knots (2414/20 "clean")
However, following the 'tween war rebuild:
23,400*/9 or 12,750/18 for New Mexico
22,400*/9 or 12,750/18 for Mississippi
26,200*/9 or 12,450/18 for Idaho
* With emergency fuel
Fuel figures:
2212.6 tons full load
5401.6 tons Maximum fuel tank capacity.
5409 tons (New Mexico), 5165 Tons (Mississippi) emergency - no figures for Idaho
No figures are given for normal tankage after the rebuild. However, based on the ratio of full fuel load to emergency fuel load (2212.6/5401.6 = 40.96%) a reasonable estimate of full load endurance would be about 9585 Nautical miles.

I knew it was a preWW2 design but thought that a low endurance given that it was a BB, barely can cruise to Lunga & back to Nouema :rolleyes:
