as the axis, i iraq and persia are on my side. but i am nearly to 1942 and i still have not gotten any oil from them.

i thought i had this problem in a previous game, and AS showed me i did NOT have the problem.

But now, i definitely DO. using the T key, i see there is no pipeline going through Turkey.

Using Supply overlay, i see that all rails are connected/undamaged.

yet, when i go to the convoy screen, there is no oil coming in from iraq or persia. all convoy routes are active.

the only thing i can think of that is different from the previous game is, Turkey has joined the axis. i do not see how this would inhibit axis oil coming in though. if anything it would likely make it easier.

My guess...since this is our game, you need more MS.
I believe they have to go through the Med since there is no "full" rail through Turkey...

I have another game with the same and the Germans are using all their MS but I did not check if I am actually getting their oil. I will verify once I my next turn there.


I wish you could pick to get oil or points...as most of the time Germany wants the oil.

Did you take Syria and the middle east

I did take them once and did get the oil. But I needed merchant shipping to transport the oil along the convoy route that popped up from Beirut, I think, back to Europe. So you need shipping and you need Syria/Lebanon.

There is an update coming up soon. Quite possible some of these issues were fixed in it. I'd have to scroll through the many fixes to search.

You have Sweden needed 25, and I am normally sending oil to Finland...maybe even PP...
That uses them all pretty quick.

as far as MM, that could be.

however, the last time i struggled with this, AS looked at it and showed me that a pipeline/trade route was running through Turkey bringing all the Middle East crude to Germany.

I'm not sure why that wouldn't be the case here, particularly with Turkey now part of the Axis.

I have a game against baloo right now and the oil is coming out of the middle east...BUT only because I was not using all my MM.

I have another game against scout that all my MS are in use...and nothing is moving.


Or I may have those reversed.
