Germany has decided to invade Poland. OKW has prepared some plan for invasion. Five cities must be absolutely taken:
. Danzig
. Poznan
. Lodz
. Krakow
. Warsaw

During the 1930s, German has developed a revolutionary combined arms tactical later known as Blitzkrieg.
Poland will be the first test to prove if the new theory is correct.

September 1st, 1939 - turn 1:

Before invading Poland, Germany is also preparing a surprised invasion of Denmark.
In order to do so, Germany Reserve Corps is moved near the border.

11th Division is also called for the invasion.

Two U-Boats groups are sent in the Atlantic to hunt some merchants. I don't put them right away on the convoy lane since they are using two operation points to move there.

In North Africa, I order the Italians to prioritize reinforcements of all the land units there.

I also setup the research for the Italians right away.

Back in Poland, I Corps opens hostilities.

Then, a combined assault of XXI Corps and I Corps is opening the Polish line.

XXI Corps can now progress towards Warsaw.

Resuming its attacks.

Destroying the Mazowiecka Cavalry unit.

Meanwhile, Luftwaffe is starting to bombard some land targets.

XIV Corps is ordered to move to attack the Polish cavalry unit there.

But the odds of a combined attack are too big. I don't want to destroy the unit. I want the unit to retreat.
As such, only the IV Corps is attacking.

Then, I can move the VII Corps to continue the attack only using two operation points.

And VII Corps can then attack once again the cavalry unit to push it back.

Mission accomplished! The IV Corps can now advance with again only two operation points.

This is only at this stage that the XVI Motorized Corps is advancing south of Lodz.
