shoot and scoot pause order?

I downloaded the demo for Black Sea. It plays very similar to the original Combat Mission but looks a lot better.

In playing the training scenario, I tried to use the old shoot and scoot tactic. Go from cover to hull down and then pause and fire for maybe 15-30 seconds or so and then retreat back into cover. However I could not figure out how to add a pause between orders. The pause would take place at the start of the turn instead of between orders. IIRC, you could use pause between orders in the original CM. Is it possible in CM2 to use pause between orders? I didn't see a way to do it in the manual.

Yes, you'll have to have the waypoint where you want to pause highlighted. When you issue the pause command you should see the accumulated time added at that point. That is for both SF2 and BS, I assume that CW will be the same mechanics.

Ummm...I guess I will have to try it again. I thought that is what I did. Ok, thanks! I will give it another go.

Ok, just tried it and it worked. I wasn't doing the highlight waypoint before adding pause. So good to go. Thanks again.

One more question. After plotting a unit is it possible to use a hot key to return to the map viewpoint of the unit which I just plotted? Right now I am manually using map hotkeys to clumsily return to the starting location of the unit.

The Tab key will lock the camera back to the currently selected unit.
