1942: Endsieg (1.10 Update)

Historical Overview
---------------------------------
Facing the threat of Axis success in North Africa, on October 31st, 1942, Germany and Italy signed the 1942 Treaty of Versailles with the Western Allies.



The treaty included the following provisions:
Finnish/Soviet peace agreement

Axis withdrawal from Western Europe and Norway, to be replaced with puppet governments.

Western Allies can continue to provide lend-lease to the Soviets


Changes to the scenario include:

Axis allies have a slightly better starting position in the Stalingrad area
Western Europe, Norway, Finnish, and North Africa theater boxes are closed. All units sent to Map or Axis reserves.
Strength requirement for Italian theater set to zero
Removal of Transcaucus and Northern Front for the Soviets

Larger starting pool of LL reinforcements
Changes to Soviet Mech Corps OOBs to accomodate increased LL stockpile.
Increased Soviet pilot pool

1) close the theater boxes.

2) Set the Italian theater box to zero.

I would like to know the answer to these questions also.

The modded scenario looks very interesting. I have copied some of the text in the first post to create a scenario description.

Freedom of the Seas- No more embargoes and no more naval combat
between the Axis powers
Western Allies can continue to provide lend-lease to the Soviets

Western Europe, Norway, and North Africa theater boxes are closed.

Save the text file as 1942 Endsieg 1.02.txt and place into the Scen folder which is in the Dat folder of your WITE 2 install.

Just had a quick look at the scenario in the editor and I think he has done this through the game event editor.

Hi everyone,

I am in the process of moving and don't have access to my computers.

I made the change using the events as described above. Once I am moved into my new home I will make a video showing how I did that.

You can adjust the TBs by going to the map and using the ctrl-b TB screen. Click on the word "Active" to turn a TB off. Other numbers like requirements can be changed here as well. Happy modding.

I just updated the original post. I skipped to 1.05 based on removing some of the other theater boxes.

Yes, I want to balance out the advantages the Axis gets.
