when looking at my air groups in the CR, I noticed none of the groups in my reserves are listed with any pilots. pressing the "add pilots" button doesn't seem to do anything, regardless of the option I select. In the picture, you can see that the only aircraft that have any pilots are the ones I had sent to reserve that turn. So, is this a bug? Or am I missing something?

No bug. WAD. There are never pilots appearing on the CR for those aircraft in the reserves. Deploy them onto the map, and the pilots will appear as though by magic. Promise.

For some technical reasons, we decided not to track the pilots in the reserve. When a unit is moved off map, it is given an experience level equal to the average of the pilots in the unit. This average can be adjusted while off map. When the unit returns to the map, we rebuild pilots using the average experience for the unit.

aaand i just found the section in the manual that covers this. *facepalms*
