Can't assign Construction units to cities

Priority and directly assigning Construction units to cities for repairs does not always work.

Directly assigning a construction unit will deduct AP, but the unit does not always show up on the next turn. In my case f.e. I've been trying for several turns to repair the Railyards in Kiev with no success, and I've noticed some other cases as well.

I have free Construction units on OKH, Army Group and Army level, but it seems very random about when a Construction unit will get sent and when not.

Do you have HQ Support Level locked on all of the HQs? If it's not, the construction units usually hop around the non-locked HQs.

Yes, I only play with locked.

I don't think locked impacts the construction units (IIRC it didn't in earlier games). Can you post saves for several turns starting when you first set priority repairs. Thanks.

See attached, turn 12 Kiev will have had Priority on for 2-3 turns, still nothing on turn 19. By then I had already tried manually assigning units from OKH with getting any, though the AP was deducted.

Yes, one of our testers found this earlier today and we're working on a fix now. It seems that the fix for attaching support units to ground units in 1.00.06 broke the attachment to cities. We're trying to get this fixed and tested as quickly as possible. All the attachment code is intertwined so clearly we need to be careful with any changes as a fix for one case has a good chance to break another case. Hopefully we'll get it fixed soon.
