Editor Question

This is probably trivial and I should try the editor first/look harder before asking, but, is it pretty easy to go into editor and make changes to OOB for turn 1? Reason I ask is I'm doing a lot of playtesting for Axis on Barbarossa, but it would be really nice to have a separate version of the campaign that has the OOB structured how I like by turn 2. It would save me an hour or so every game spent reassigning SU's manually and changing army compositions. I could just do a post air turn-1 save, but the problem is I can't change army structure for the locked AGS units in Romania until T2.

I get this may possibly change game balance somewhat (hopefully not much, if at all), but I'd really just like to have a campaign that I can restart T1 without having to do all my T2 changes. I could just do a T2 save but I'd like to be able to change my T1 movements, as well.

Thanks!

I do the same thing when playing the 41 Campaign in WitE1. I am still playing the short scenarios and have not yet made similar amendments to the WitE2 41 Campaign.

For a combat unit, re-assigning HQ or changing location is easy. You do it in the same way as in the game. Be careful about changing the location if you want to play vs the Axis AI. Since the T1 AI uses scripts, I suspect that changing Axis units' location may affect Axis performance.

To re-assign SUs, you can only do it similar to re-assigning HQ for a combat unit. You cannot just go into a combat unit/lower HQ and assign SUs from higher HQs.

Thank you! Will try this this weekend
