I just found myself assigning support units to various corps, then clicking on the support unit to examine its TOE/morale/etc. Unfortunately, I then had to click on the "elements" tab to show what ground elements it had. When I closed the SU's unit display screen it took me back to the HQ display screen, but now the "elements" tab was showing, meaning I had to click on the "assigned" tab to get back to assigning more SUs. Click, click, click, click.
Since Support units cannot be assigned any units, please eliminate the "assigned" tab for their display window. Instead, just go right to the "elements" tab (i.e. get rid of the "assigned" tab for support units).

Yea, I do wish the flow of assigning these was a little better. It's a lot better than the old Grigsby games that took sometimes 5 or 6 clicks to do one thing (Bombing the Reich, anybody?), but it can still improve more. I find myself bouncing around a lot unnecessarily when I'm trying to reassign things and while I'm getting more comfortable with it, it can be smoother.

I wish to update this suggestion after more playing.
Just get rid of the two tabs in the unit display window. Just have a area that displays BOTH the elements and the assigned units. For HQs, the TOE portion (including support stats) is so small that there is no need to separate it out from from the asigned units section. For combat units, the number of assigned units maxes out a 3, so there is not need to have a separate tab for assigned units.

I second this. Unless you're playing on a mobile phone there is no need to not display both abs at the same time.

I agree. For example, being able to mass change the hq of support units via the commander report would be awesome (especially for the first turn).

A further suggestion on assignment of SU's
I would like to see a Standard Requisition OOB for SU for each type of HQ rather than the loose 1,2,3, etc usable in the CR.
Examples:
Assault Army HQ.
2 Light Mixed Flak
2 Construction Units
1 Road Construction Unit
2 Pioneer Battalions
1 Mixed artillery
Assault Corps HQ
1 Light Mixed Flak
1 Pioneer Battalion
1 Mixed Artillery
1 Heavy Cannon
Would save many an hour of trying to get the desired SU’s into the relevant HQ’s

So many of the issues would be fixed if you could select multiple units. Let me select 30 infantry divisions from my reserve and set them all to refit off, let me then select 10 of them to send to Finland and select the other 20 to send to the map.
Let me select 12 support units to assign to one army instead of having to constantly close and reopen the UI. This is genuinely so agravating. Also, bring back the flipping Refit on and Refit off buttons. The lack of the ability to hold control and click on all the things you want, which is something that computers have had since time immemorial is making turns last 5x longer than they should.

how much use are you making of the filters in the Commander's Report - I suspect that would solve most of you identify
