After upgrading to 1.07 the air directives does not seem to work. When playing RtL the fighters from JG54 do not reach any of the airfields and partial escort make no difference. My directives will have no fighter support despite doing it the same way as i used to in V1.0.

In the picture above i made no changes to the doctrin...only deleted the autogenerated ones.

I don't see a difference between 1.00.00 and 1.00.07 for this air directive when I create it (just tested it in both versions). There were no changes that I can think of in this area of the game. If you tell the fighters to use drop tanks they will extend the range, but the default is without them.

Am i missremembering things maybe ? I seem to recall that if i equiped the 53 JG with droptanks i could manually select it to escort strikes on Riga. Now i can't...It can reach 1 hex short of Riga but not all the way to the airfield.

regardless of the settings for partial escort YES/NO.

If this has always been the same then i think that if the directive has partial escort YES selected the player ought to be allowed to manually select desired airgroups to take part in an airstrike on a target out of range of the selected fightergroup.

If partial escort is set to NO...then those airgroups should indeed be unavaliable.
