TBJ's SWAMP Mod: New swamp tiles for WITE2

Install instructions are in the zip. Basically back up the stock art files and copy these into the Swamp and Coast directories.

All 24 tiles have unique patterns, and the art will correspond to the ground weather:

Regular and Light Mud: pools and reeds.
Heavy Mud: Darker reeds and pools
Light Snow: Dark frozen pools, dead reeds
Snow: Light snow cover on the pools
Heavy Snow: Total snow colour on the pools, just the thickest dead reeds showing.

At least that is the idea. I will add screenshots below when I can.

For the curious, here is my TBJ Swamp mod combined with Overkill's Pretty Trees v0.1. Rather nice!



For the record, the developers have done a great job recognizing the limitations of WITE and WITW's map art and underlying architecture, and implementing solutions in WITE2. The tools are all there to produce maps that rival Jison's legendary Rainy day in Russia, and its going to be great seeing what people come up with.

So I'm wondering whether to continue work on the woods and forest, or switch to a more symbol base approach, or move onto other tiles, such as the railways? Any thoughts?

One aspect I have difficulty with is locating the major cities. Kiev, Smolensk, etc sort of just blend into the background when I am scrolling around looking for them.

On your todo list, may I suggest the ferry symbol? Should be lighter.
