When my mouse is at an edge of the battlefield map it cause the map to scroll. Is there a way to turn that off so that I can either use the WSAD keys or a mouse-button-down drag?

WASD does not work, as A is used for Ranged attack and S for Strategic move order mode. There is currently no rebinding.

There is also no mouse-down-drag option for moving the map. Edgescroll and Arrow Keys are the only ways to scroll the main view.

I wish it didn't scroll after I leave the app. I'm new to this app, so maybe I'm missing something. But now when I leave the app to read the manual or do something else, the map keeps scrolling and scrolling.

Seems like I've had other apps that as soon as I click on another window and make it the active window then the scrolling stops.

No way to disable edge scroll.
However, if you Alt+Tab out of the game, mouse movements should no longer be registered.

My prefered display mode for all games is "bordless window Fullscreen":
- when you tab out, the game will no longer receive input
- unlike normal Fullscreen, there is no transition period as the Desktop or game reaquires sole access to the GPU - both are just part of the Windowing System, like Firefox and Libre Office.

Though not "scrolling" per se, Minimap [F8] is also an option.

Wait, but windowed mode (set it in windows.txt) *does* disable edge scrolling ?
(I recommend the 3rd party Borderless Gaming tool for fullscreen windowed borderless.)

I'm actually surprised that ShEmp even *has* (non-windowed, borderless or not) fullscreen, isn't it made in Windows Forms ? Or maybe it doesn't, and it's using the same trick as Borderless Gaming already, but windowed mode just disables edge scrolling ?

I'd really love to turn off edge scrolling because a) it's pretty fast and more importantly b) I usually perform unwanted edge scrolls, when I rush the mouse to screen border elements in order to click them. I kind of hate edge scrolling and prefer rightclick dragging, or wasd, or arrows...
Please make it an option!
