My Japanese land-based bombers (Nell's and Betty's) don't attack a US carrier task force that passes by within 5 squares (April 1942). The airbases are level 5, with 20,000 supply and air HQ units. The bombers also have fighter escorts. I've run this turn over and over with the AI, but the bombers (over 50 planes) will not attack. Any ideas? Thanks.

Check the bombers are on naval strike, check the weather, check the morale of the units?

Will the bombers fly any mission?
