Quad Guns shooting down Level Bombers

Created some level bomber squadrons and sent them to pound an enemy city.
Know this particular opponent is in the process of deploying corp size MG Units many with quad guns and MGs,
So his SHQ had loads of these units. In the combat screen these guys just shredded what Im guessing are "high altitude" level bombers....
This seems a bit out of kilter. It makes sense if they can defend against tactical bombers at low altitude - but the level bombers.....does that make sense???
Cheers

According to "6.1.12. antI-aIr model tyPes", all types of MG should have 0% efficiency against high flying aircraft. You should be able to see that in their stats, listed as 30/0.
To hit high Fliers with any relevant force you need something like a SAM or Flak Gun.

Were there any flak batteries within 1 hex of the SHQ, or SAM launchers within 2 to 6 hexes? Do they have fighters of their own that were running air intercept missions?

No pretty sure not. Just done another bombing run and similar happened - though because he had way fewer units the level bombers went head to head with the 15 or so Quad Guns and traded 6 for 1 bomber lost....

Again, according to the Manual Quad MG should have 0% damage vs high fliers.
Anything times 0 is 0.
If they do not have 0 vs high fliers listed, there may be a bug in the Manual.
If 0 is listed vs high fliers, then there is a more severe game bug.
Both cases need reporting.
