Allocate Replacements

Wouldn't it be nice to have the option to manually allocate replacements like it's done in Schwerpunkt's World War 2 Europe game? Likely won't happen due to one dev programmer constraints but it doesn't hurt to dream. [;)]

I don't have Schwerpunkt...how does it work?

You simply click on a unit and allocate replacement points. That way you can add replacements to a unit in an active front and not do so in an inactive front. TOAW gives a unit replacements whether or not the player wants a unit to get them.

Isn't that the point of the Replacement Priority setting? You can set it to zero if you want.

That is across the board non adjustable. Once it's set that's it for the entire scenario. If one part of the front suddenly needs more too bad. Can't change it from normal to high. It's too rigid.

Good point. Does seem odd that this isn't adjustable during play; since the "feature" is already present, seems like it would only be necessary to add a UI element to allow it to be changed in-game--hopefully not an insurmountable obstacle.

I agree it'd be great to have more existing variables being adjustable via events or TO, rather than focusing on adding more complexity.
