Bombardment with naval fleets

Hi,
Before all, thanks to Alvarro for its work and sorry for my bad english.
I need some help.
When I want to attack with a naval fleet without any carriers, I send my fleet adjacent to the ennemy and ?
Idem for the air attacks, I can attack easily alone, but how does the ground support work ?
I have a unit, the ratio of the attack is 1:1. A large BB fleet is adjacent and the ratio is unchanged.
What does I miss ?

Thank you.

Best regards.

I have the same question, I have a BB group adjacent to a hex with an enemy army, but other than supply the beachhead ( my army, also sitting adjacent to the BB group hex) but it does not seem to change the odds for the attack (or offer up any other method that I can figure out to support the attack)....
Thanks

Unlike every other game naval units can't directly attack land units.
They can support attacks.

When you attack with a land to another land the off shore bombardment and air is added in during combat. The odds for the attack do not include air or naval support.

When attacking navies move next to them, or in range with a CV, and right click the enemy. As long as you see the counter you can attack it.

And air unit can air strike and/or ground support which automatically happens. But it can be intercepted by the enemy.

This isn't a point and click game like 99% of the others. This is a pure wargame with intricate systems and a different less micromanagement way to do things. There are a lot of units in the game and I made it go as smoothly as possible.
