I made a personal micro-mod for WarPlan by adding polka dots over shaded hexes that can only be reached by spending all operation points.
I found it very useful in the heat of gaming battles to instantly see how far a unit can reach while maintaining one action point to attack.
Especially in rough terrain.

I simply tweaked the “movepath.png” file like this:

I just tried dropping my micro-modded WarPlan “movepath.png” file into a WarPlan Pacific campaign and it worked just fine & as I wanted.
I simply forgot that modded files under campaign folders override their corresponding vanilla files…[8|]

A sample of my polka dotted “insufficient OP left to attack” hexes so you'll see what I mean.
I personally find them very useful so I'll probably post them as a micro-mod.

Forgot to add the movepath so I updated it with text and added it to the above downloadable.

Not many from the image are used as I changed how somethings are done over the last 18m. But they are marked so you know. It's just faded colors.

I've noticed that the Map and Unit images to mod for WarPlan Pacific miss the silhouette for defense infantry, in both the files AlvaroSousa and Nikel posted.

I would love to get this for a little counter mod I'm working on.
