Naval Warfare Clarification

Hi Alvaro,
I can't seem to dig out the following information. Hopefully I can stop bugging you soon. In addition to all of the tutorials I also watched your set of tour videos but they were only 3-4 minutes long and not enough info.
#1 Naval pursuit- Use all of the OPs for the unit and still have a chance to engage in combat. What mode does the pursuing fleet use, Raider or Fleet? What does the defending fleet use Raider or Fleet? What is the distance of detection and combat range?
#2 Is there a section in the manual that has all of the information about Raider and Fleet modes? I can't find it. Including all the types of naval units vs all the types of defending units. For instance CV's versus subs. Range of detection, range of attack and mode of each unit Raider or Fleet. As you can see a chart for each type of situation would be very useful. It is hard to remember what type of unit can attack another type of unit and what mode each unit has to be in and the range etc.
I cannot comprehend whether I should have DD or CA or CV in Fleet mode or Raider mode. Subs and Carriers especially. But all types.
#3 Naval HQ's. Where do they come from? How do you get them? I assume they are used to supply a beach landing. How close do they have to be to a beach?
#4 In one of your tour videos you said it takes three naval units to blockade a port. (not small islands). How close do they have to be? ANd in your example you used the Philippines. You said it was possible to blockade it. As you pointed out there are four ports on main island. Does this mean it takes three units times four ports or 12 units to blockade to work? And does it matter what kind of naval unit? Are Sub and patrol craft acceptable?
Each point has several questions in it. I hope you answer these it will help other players as well.
Thank you. And if my questions aren't clear, please ask me for clarification. Especially the one about all of the possible situation that and ships fot the Fleet and Raider mode stuff.
