Supply Interdiction

Hi !

To do Supply Interdiction against a Port, a naval unit must be within 2 hex of it or 4 for a air unit (by the way, the subject appears twice in the manual, and in one of them, it talks about 4 hex for naval and 8 for air, i think this come from previous Warplan game where hex scale were twice less important ^^).

It's also told the distance are the same for protection against Supply interdiction.

My question is : A fleet in port defend against Supply Interdiction ? Or it must be at sea ? (seems logical to me, at least to consume fuel for doing it).

Thanks !

That is a typo in the rules.....

blockade 1 hex in the water opening leading to the port.
naval supply interdiction 2 hexes
air supply interdiction 4 hexes

Yes defending naval units need to be out at sea protecting the convoys

Hi Alvaro,

Since it is not just as simple as this, when answering this type of question you should always include if the unit doing the blockading has to be in Raider or Fleet Mode.
