I am playing a pbem game and the indian unit at Myitkyina is not able to use rail movement. This is from the first turn with 30 rail movement left, and no enemy units nearby. Why is this happening? I have tried a single player campaign, and here I can move the unit by rail.

Did you accidentally garrison it?

It is railing fine for me. It can rail only to Rangoon. The lines west of it are roads.

i am having this problem again now in another pbem. The option to rail this unit is just not there. You cant press the button and I havent moved the unit or anything.

Also it is all three units on the railline from Myitkyina to Rangoon I cant rail. The supply is also not 9, as it is in a single player game I loaded, and where it is possible to move them by rail. There are no japanese troops nearby, so what can be wrong?

Either something is cut or there isn't supply. You need a supply level 9 to rail which represents full connection to the supply line. If the Japanese cut it near Rangoon then all those units above can't rail.

Or if the rail is damaged.

I have uploaded a photo of the situation in my first post. I just dont see what should block rail movement in the situation.
