Growing ports?

Hello. I may have missed something, but is it possible to increase ports in size? Can't seem to find a reference to such a thing.

But I wish I could.[:D] You can make it in the same way as the support unit (like airfields), but with a long production time. They could come as port level 1 maybe with an option to upgrade to level 2 later. It would be nice if not all the ports on the map were already there. I imagine: If you want to use Guadalcanal and other smaller Islands to your advantage you have to build a port and an airfield by your engineers.
