I hope the starship troopers rts pans out well. There hasn't been a decent ground based rts put out in years other than supreme commander and its sequel forged alliance which is still going strong with a user made multiplayer lobby and a very strong modding scene. A few were kinda okish like grey goo and ashes of the singularity but they ultimately got stale and had little replay value.

Just wanted to say well done, Erik, Elliot and team. I saw the latter half of the preview and the scale looks impressive - an incredible amount of detail in the ship design process, which looks a lot less clunky than in DW 1. I'll wait until I can watch the 1st half before asking questions! Is it still go for a 2021 release?

God do I want to play this. It's looking so, so good. I love the amount of info in the ship design UI. Also, not sure if it's just the angle of the camera but I love the systems being slightly off plane; there is far less clutter when viewing the map.

I'm with the presenter, you guys must be so proud of creating a game like this.

love the new work on the galaxy look, very reminiscent of the OG DW galaxy look, My suggestion would be to make it have a central galactic bulge and increase brightness towards the centre to more represent an iconographic archetype of a typical spiral galaxy.

If you want some references, have a look at the way galaxies are generated in the universe simulator SPACE ENGINE available on steam, I believe its free on the devs own website.

Universe sandbox also does good galactic generation.

Is there any higher resolution recordings of the stream available?
Watching this 720p stream on a 4K monitor makes it extremely blurry...
