I’ve noticed that when I play a sandbox battle against the AI, they tend to “pick” mostly artillery units. I’m talking of a division vs division battle. Has anyone else noticed this and if so, is there a setting for this?

I was getting the same. Try selecting "Balanced Forces" during the Sandbox setup.

On a tip from a friend, I tried the SoWGB demo. I liked what I saw and purchased about 2 weeks ago. So far I really like it. Never cared for other RealTime WGs but this one has really grown on me and is unique. I Completed all the tutorials and now I'm working through GB scenarios and planning a trip to Gettysburg. [:)]
