Yet even more rule clarifications.

Air units and CVs
-- Do they need an operation point left to do supply convoy interdiction.

Subs (Yes, this again, but people keep telling me different things.)
-- If moved in Fleet mode can they be intercepted by naval or air units.
-- Do they have a stacking limit of 3 or 5, don't know if you caught it but manual says both.

Is this right? To attack sub:
-- Land Based air can attack a sub in any hex.
-- Must be an escort or Sub Hunter on convoy route, range 24
-- For all other attacks against subs it must be in a hex that contains some land (coastal hex).

I do not believe you need movement points to disrupt supply convoys.

Subs can not be intercepted if moved in fleet mode.
Sadly I have heard both stacking limits but I think it is 5 in WP Pacific...it is 3 in WP Europe which is probably why the manual has both listed. Missed update.

Land Based air can attack subs anywhere in any mode.
Escorts assigned to a convoy will attack subs anywhere on that convoy route or try.
Sub hunters will attack within range 24

FOR naval to attack a sub the sub must have a hex adjacent to it that is not all water.

ALSO if a sub is in fleet mode it will "attack" units moving within range and inturn be attacked.

Manual convoy escorts have radius of 12, not 24, right?
Also be very careful with the adjacent non-ocean hex rule. There are many such hexes that may not be obvious immediately.

24 hex radius.
And yes you do need an Opt point to interdict supply.
