Stupid question
Can you confirm if the Shifting Sands add on from the DLC is only for CMO or can I play it on CMANO?

From what I understand, if you bought any of the DLCs on Steam after CMO was released, then they function as, well, DLCs that require the base game to run. That's how they're marked on the store, at least. If you bought the DLCs during the CMANO days (before CMO's release), then they also function as standalone games in which the scenarios that come with the DLC can be played using the CMANO engine (why anyone would do this if they also have CMO I have no idea, but it is theoretically an option).

I am just getting back into the game and wasn't sure if the Shifting Sands would work with the CMANO version Do NOT have CMO, still very much a novice
