Sorry if this is the wrong place to ask, but:

This game looks really interesting but I don't do Steam. If I buy the game from the Matrix store here, can I play it without installing Steam?

Also, this confuses me:

"Our Digital Download service sends you a download link to the master game file once your order is complete..... The download is available to you for thirty days after your order."

So how does this work if I want to re-install down the road? Do I need to save the installer?

Yes, you can. (You also get a Steam key for free.)

I suppose this means that the link itself is only guaranteed to work for 30 days..? (Not that, unlike what GoG does, they seem to change it on purpose ?), however you can get a new link any time from your matrixgames.com page :

Also, the Manual listed there is obsolete, you can get the most recent one for free from :

Just register yourself when buying at the shop. Then you can re-retrieve the Key and the Installer how often you need to.
