I have decided that I am hanging up my guns in WITE2. I will finish out the last game but I am done after that one. Just wanted to say, "Thanks", even to the people that don't like me, for the times in the game & the forum.

I am happy you were able to get some things from my ramblings. I will be continuing my Q-Ball AAR but I just don't have time with my work load for anything else. Figured I would announce hanging up my guns so people would know.

I don't play any other games on Slitherine forums. My Q-Ball game will be continuing with the AAR when I get a few minutes to update. Q-Ball has turn 5 now after the long weekend of the Server being down.

Having had a job that would send me out of town and/or country at the drop of a hat, I can sympathize with you. I remember in the 90s when the press said that Japanese men were working themselves to death doing 2,500 hours of work a year and my entire workplace cracked up - we were averaging over 3,000. But it does end and retirement is much better for it! (I retired at the end of the year.)

Hope to see you back at some point. My understanding of the original WitE mechanics (especially for the soviet side) has much to do with your AAR's and comments on the old forums.
