I haven't played 8.3 but the problem with Fall Weiss II - 20 is that the Maginot line doesn't start entrenched. IMO this makes the game un playable if the Axis attacks the Maginot line early.

The current game mod version is 8.3 if I am not mistaken. Just played a game and the line was entrenched as per normal. You have to download and install the mod from the forums

I'm looking at the one that loads with PBEM Weiss II- 20, I think its from the community pack. If the Maginot starts the game entrenched in your game its a better version.

Confirmed working on my end.

Overall, I think the mod is an improvement on the base game, especially with regards to the economic/diplomatic game.

The community pack version is out of date as far as I am aware.
