Several Questions.

1) The manual says air superiority groups use 2 oil, with a 50% chance of using only 1 in defense. Yet air superiority units in the game only say they use 1 oil. Is it 1 or 2.

2) In the picture below I, playing Japan have conquered the Philippines, but the US air unit is in Davou. I cannot move into the hex with a transported land unit. I cannot invade since it is recorded as being Japanese land. Is this WAD?

I can see green color on hex under US plane, so its definitely not Japanese controlled and you should be able to invade it, maybe from different hex?
I usually just take it on foot from Cebu anyway to save landing crafts.

When I hover over the hex it says Japan.
If it is US controlled then should I not be able to land on a beach near it?
Currently the ONLY way to take it is as you say land at Cebu and march to it. Is this WAD?

I checked my old save and it says USA when i hover over it. I even have two UK planes north of him and it says UK controlled as well, so idk. Maybe a bug indeed

I just saved my first 8 turns of my first game in seperate saves and still have it

#1 it's 1. The manual is not correct. 1, 2, 3, 4 oil use for each unit airSup, Ground, Tac, Str

#2 The air unit owns that hex you must walk into it. You also can't invade ports directly. Land to the side. Land to the beach NW of the transport fleet. You might also be out of landing craft. Also check the weather. If it is heavy rain you can't invade.

The game does not give me the option to land side of USA owned hex, because they are Japanese.

I think you will need to just walk there with your marine to the north.

Perhaps Alvaro can change the Amphibious rules so you can land on your own territory. There is no reason you should not be able too.

Don't worry...my plane is not going anywhere...it can't move unless I get some transports in the next turn.

I can verify that I have enough landing craft.
I can verify that I have enough transports.
Having trouble uploading pictures, but can verify that when I press the Z key no viable invasion hex lights up.

The only way I can remove his air unit is to land march over. I should be able to do it another way then having to march all over the land.
