Multiplayer questions for tcp/ip games online ??

well last night me and a freind tried to play online by entering our ip#'s and he could see me but when he finally joines he got a server 00 error and when he hosted i never got in and then it totally crashed my system and now all i get is wallpaper when it boots ... i am a pc network tech and im very unhappy that this has happened as it looks like ill have to rebuild my sysytem and lose everything

sheesh never mind the crash question k /// i need to know is online gaming a problem with this game or what is it buggy ???? what do we need to do we are both using 4.4 any help will be appreciated thank you

Asking a question may help in getting an answer...what exactly do you want to know?
Nobody else has reported any unrecoverable system error working with version 4.4 of the game.
The latest versions of the GameServer and game should not cause such a thing to happen, but its impossible to know if something else on your system may have interacted with it to cause the problem.

I been playing Online for a while and no one had this problem. If you like I be more then happy to give you a call to see if I can get narrow this down.

Hasn't got much to do with the original post, but has anyone found a way to get 4-player games work? It always freezes for everyone at the start of fourth player's first turn. 4 computers on a LAN, we tried it with different people hosting and different maps, no luck.

thx for the response guys .... well i had to completely fdisk and rebuild my pc today i never got back in to windows after i ran the wnb.exe i think thats what its called its an online gaming room executable ... but any ways thats not that big of a deal what is is me and a freind were trying to play online last night and we could not seam to get it to go and all i was wondering is has any body else had problems doing this yet ... he got a server 00 error when i hosted but i could see his name when he entered the waiting for others area ... then when he hosted i couldnt connect to hid ip# ???
