"Locking" planetary options in place

As a few folks understand, the maths and complications behind the planetary generation engine are insanely complex to the point where customization may prove infeasible without a serious overhaul, which probably wouldn't be worth the time. With this in mind, I had a thought: Locking options.

Locking options is a rather odd but simple way to brute-force your own custom planet without (hopefully) buggering with the game's code.

Simply put, at the planet generation screen, beside each variable that's presented, would be a lock icon. Clicking on it would 'lock' that variable down, e.g. 'locking' a planet at 205x85 tiles would mean that each planet you generate after that would be the same 205x85 tiles big. This would work best (and probably only) on the planet's planetology stage, but might also work quite well on it's atmosphere generation stage.

I hope the idea's simple enough to implement! I love the game, but I'm a perfectionist that can't stand having to spend two hours looking for the 'ideal' planet before a game can even begin! Cheers!

This is, actually, a very good suggestion.

And make starting location random, its solve the problem! You will be able to just save interesting planets for future.
