Supply trucks.

In the editor there's a line that read "Supply Truck Unit Supply Gain". One can set it between 0 and 4. Presently, it is set to 1 and the trucks give units their normal allotment. I haven't figured out what this line means, but am sure it's very exciting once I learn what it does. So ... does anyone know? [&:]

Probably just a multiple?
The manual says it gives 4%age but I swear I’ve seen different amounts at different base effectiveness.

I must check that.

No, it's the same. Always 4%. Maybe it has something to do with how many levels a truck can fill up, but doesn't a unit always go to three once it has supply? This nags at me because I hope it is something that one can actually use.

It used to be 6% but was too powerful. The Axis was unstoppable in Russia, so it was cut to 4% and armor / air take twice as many.
I have not checked but units have 3 supply points when in supply. Using a truck gives them 1 more so they have 4.
Each turn 1 is used but if in supply you always gain 1 if less than 3.
Perhaps you could go to 5 or 6 supply.
Until you go to supply 2 you have full combat and movement capabilities.
So if you were going to break through a line if defenders and you knew you would be out of supply next turn you would use a truck before your attack. Then hopefully the rest of your armor tunnels through with you.
There was a rumor in the past that I read units were going up to 6 supply using trucks and not moving...but I never saw that. Just read that once. Probably was a BAD idea.

Yes, I saw that with the changed effect of the trucks. But that was in source code. Maybe it's something that Alvaro planned to use for something that never was made active.

Means how much unit supply a unit gains from a supply truck. It's just so poorly worded that I had to look it up.

Okay.
Now correct me if I'm wrong on any of this:
1. The maximum number of "supply blocks" a unit can have/take in/carry is 4.
2. A unit must be in supply to recieve supply blocks.
3. A unit in supply automatically fills up to 3 blocks as soon as this critera (in supply) is met.
It seems to me that, save the figure 0 in the scenario line, the number set there has no consequence in the game. If I'm wrong, what effect will the settings of 2, 3 or 4 have, and during what conditions?
EDIT:
Addition: If you mean that the percentage of effectiveness given by the truck is the number set here, it doesn't work. It's always 4 %, regardless of setting.

#1 Land/Air yes... Most Naval yes.... subs are 5 and 8 for long range subs
#2 No... they can get offshore or air transport supply
#3 If main or port supply is met yes.
The figure of 1 means using a supply truck the unit will get +1 unit supply.

By 2. I meant the supply trucks.
Anyway, then it doesn't matter what figure is in this field and I can't use it in any way. Then I know. Thanks.[:)]
