Slow Performance in the main Screen

Hello to all,
I´ve install the new WITP AE ver 1.8.26 in my computer. The spec of it are:
INTEL CORE i7 7500 2.7 GHz
NVIDIA GeFORCE GTX 950 M 2 GB DEDICATED
8GB DDR4 MEMORY
I also put these on the start shortcut:
"C:\WITP AE\autorun.exe" -SingleCpuOrders -fd -deepColor -altFont -skipVideo -archive
But when I go to the main screen it take varios secound to scroll, and to open and shut all the screens for bases, ships
etc...
But when I go to the top of the main screen and scroll over Aden or Capetown, all go at the normal scroll
velocity. Then if I go to another part of the main map, and point to some base or TF, it continue to go very
slow.
Some time ago I begun with WITP simple edition, and Works very well.
Thanks for all and I hope you can help me.
Andy

Unless you changed the naming of the file folders that the game installs, your WITP VER 1 00 79 will not work.
1. Create the shortcut by opening the folders that lead you to the game executable file War in the Pacific Admiral Edition.exe
2. Right Click on the game executable to bring up options and choose "create shortcut". That will create a shortcut with the correct path to the game folder. This is the only shortcut that will work with the switches. Note that your game must be patched up to version 1.8.11.26a or 1.8.11.26b to really work with the switches. I don't know whether any foreign language version of the game exists with a different patch number (like your 1.00.79), but if it does it should be dated within the past seven or so years to work with the switches properly.
3. Drag the new shortcut to your desktop, then right click on it to bring up its properties. In the box called TARGET, put in your switches in a line that looks like this (my switch line) -
"C:\Matrix Games\War in the Pacific Admiral's Edition\War in the Pacific Admiral Edition.exe" -altFont -archive -deepColor -px1680 -py1050 -w -fixedArt -skipVideo -multiaudio -SingleCpuOrders -cpu3
4. Note that you CANNOT use the minus sign for the switches, you must use the hyphen from the top of the keyboard, to the right of the number row. All spacing and punctuation (upper and lower case letters, quote marks, back-slashes) must be exact
5. If you still do not understand the process, consult the stickied thread on Slow Performance which has lots of screenshots showing what to do and explanations of what the switches might do for you. Alternately, download and install Korvar's Seabee utility which automates the installation of the switches and creates the correct shortcut.

You should be able to get good and trouble free full screen by forcing the video resolution.
Similar to mine:
-fd -dd_sw -altFont -cpu3 -multiaudio -pxf1920 -pyf1080 -deepColor -SingleCpuOrders

It may depend on your monitor and video card, but I tried that resolution when I had to use Windows 10, and it caused issues near the edge where the Win 10 Action Bar is. I had to reduce it a bit. Just experiment a bit with those pxf & pyf numbers until you get something big enough to live with. Try to keep a 16:9 ratio on the numbers if you can.

True enough. The simple fact is there is not a correct answer for this.
They individual switches can also vary over time depending on Windows and graphic card updates.
About 6 months ago I was running in windowed mode but now for me full screen works fine
at least until the next round of updates.
Every individual player has to understand the switches and work through it.
