WitE2 - Destruction of Southwestern front scenario - CTD

Hi,
In the above scenario, T1, as the Soviets, in the air phase if one attempts to allocate an air directive to the Southern Front (ie the front is not active I think?) - i get the message 'AOG not found' and CTD. Has anyone else seen that?
