A new patch is now available for Strategic Command: World War I. Have a look at the full changelog.

Thanks Hubert for your incredible support of this great series.

It seems the link is not for the WW1 title, but for the WWII one. I have all three. ;)

Unless I'm mistaken.

Thanks!

Hubert,

Bought the game earlier today, but having a problem with updating to the latest patch. Followed your above site suggestion, loaded it, then extracted it (only to the file it suggested), but after hitting the desktop icon twice, the SCWWI launch window shows the game is 1.01. If I ask the launch window to update the game it comes up with a microsoft window asking for my username and password, but does not accept my password and does not offer a solution to finding out what that password is. I do not know where to find it? Is there another way in order to get the patch? or, Do you have a solution? Sure I can play a 1.01 scenario, I'd rather be updated.

Thanks

It might be best to raise a ticket with Matrix Games support, or register the game via Steam and then Steam should automatically prompt it to update.

I hope you can get it updated soon!

Hi Bill,

Finally updated to 1.05 manually with help from Paulo. See that a divisional scenario has been added. Are there more scenarios in the pipeline? By the way: Is there a printed manual for this game? Got the boxed edition it should arrive in a few weeks. Doing a print out from the 300 page PDF would weigh a couple of pounds and suck up a whole ink cartridge. At times I like to turn the computer off just to read a game's manual to comprehend all that's there.

Bye for now, Bob

There is no printed Manual I'm afraid, though you could just print out key sections, or put it on a book reader or tablet that can read pdf files.

In terms of scenarios, there are two divisional ones included. I don't rule out there being more, but it's not on the immediate agenda either.
