US-CA FAA JSS NWS and CCR Radar Sites

Post by KnightHawk75 »

Created imports for every radar system I could find that seemed reasonably accurate and fairly up to date info on the following:
-All US-FAA-ARTCC (50 states + PR) operated long range search radars currently operating.
-All JSS participating radars (50 states+PR+CA), includes AK NWS radars.
-All North Warning System Radars operating in Canada (separate import)
- 4 CCR operated long range surveillance Radars operated by Canada that at least on public paper don't seem to be part of JSS\NWS.

\ NWS_CA_Radars\ NWS_CA-Only_Radars-2020-v1.inst - Contains the Canadian NWS and CCR radars.
\ US_FAA_JSS_Radars\ US_FAA_JSS_Radars-2020-v1.inst - Contains all the US FAA-ARTCC\JSS\NWS.
\ US_CA_FAA_JSS_NWS_CCR_Radars-2020-v1.lua - Is a text file for the script that will populate all these on a scene if one wants to make edits\additions\etc.

Requires\Built under: build 1147.25 db488 (actually I think ~db485+ will be fine none of the facilities or sensors involved are all that 'newly' added)
Notes:
If anyone is simulating ATC ops or massive attack on US maybe this comes in handy, otherwise not sure how useful it is, but sharing it anyway. See notes\description in .inst's and scripts. However know that these DO NOT cover TACCOM\local-airport radars, defense Space\BMD looking systems, or super long range over-the-horizon systems, or other type systems not publicly belonging to the aforementioned orgs. I can probably find most of those but they were sort of out of scope mostly for what I was doing, though maybe I'll add them in a later revision.

Help wanted: There seems to be gap on the west coast of Canada, for the life of me I can't find records of an active site at least with the above sort of owners, of a radar that covers the area sort of north of Queen Charlotte Sound and toward very southern AK strip (~52 to ~56'ish lat). There must be something beyond local airport radars and super long range 2d systems, no? Also I did not "CMO adjusted" the gps for height\placement adjustments, ie I've left them unchanged from source material, my usual practice of finding similar heights with-in ~1 nm to what they are in reality vs cmo elevation readings to optimize coverage were not applied. If someone finds happens to find a significant error, a missing system, etc by all means let me know and I'll correct or add it.
