Folks, there are some screen shots of KP posted at the Wargamer, but I think you may find these more representative of what you will be working with during normal play:
Russian unit detail in the Last Stand game. Note German units have broken out of the pocket up north and are heading towards safety (or at least trying to!)

Combat display detail - Germans get a chance to knock out a Russian armoured unit with an Overrun - note the amount of detail provided via the combat menu at the bottom and the Combat helper pop-up.

Movement helper popup detail - you will notice that KP provides you with extraordinary amounts of info onscreen without having to worry about hotkeys and sub-menus. It's a well thought out UI.

Terrain and CRT info display page.
It's all there, you simply select the terrain type on the left and it will display relevant movement and combat information for that particular type of terrain.

The in-game email sender menu - the game has a built-in email system that compresses and emails the turn off to your opponent automatically. Very cool.
When you press the "Exit and send" button it will invoke your mail client and present you with an already-addressed new mail message with the email file attached, ready to send.
You just need to enter a few insults into the email window before you hit the send button

That PBEM feature sounds awesome! It was such a pain in the *** to send files in UV.

I should also point out that if you associate .dkp files with the main korsun .exe file (and it may be that the installer will do this automatically, I'm not sure), when you receive a PBEM mail from your opponent, all you have to do is click on the attached file in the mail window, and it will invoke KP to load up and present you with your PBEM turn ready to play.
Cheers, Chris

I have a dial up modem. Unfortunately broadband is not available in my suburb.
When I play PBEM games, I save all the turns into files. Then create the emails and set them to "Send later".
After I have completd all my turns of UV and TAO2, I log on and hit "Send" and all the emails go at once.
The new PBEM system sounds great but I hope I am not forced to log on before I am ready to send.

Depending on your mail client, you are normally able to save new email messages, meaning that you can prepare your email turns, save them, and then when ready, log on to your ISP and send the emails on their way.
Cheers Chris
