How can this happened? Was he visiting the front?

I had a nice picture but the forum doesnt like me posting links.

The battle took place at 41,63 with a Japanese army and attacking a Chinese army. The Chinese HQ is 3 hexes away, at Kunming.

Yes. That General is supporting the battle.

Anytime a general supports a battle there is a chance they will be killed.
Low chance but basically they go to the front to direct the battle and mostlikely get shelled.

Probably committed seppuku for handling battle so poorly.[:D]

On uploading picture make sure your file is less then 200K or it won't upload.
Also have to use the "post reply" if on an existing thread to get the choice.

I think that only works if you host the image on another web site so you have a full http link to it.
