just delivered to me about five minutes ago said too.

He said (in some real choice words) that he can't log into the forum.

I saw his ID in the "who's online" section and sent him some IM's about our battle...but recieved no answers. Guess he was reading posts as a Guest before giving up.

So much for the mystery. Jim L will be crushed to find out that he'll never get the chance to pull the mask off of Batman now.

not to mention I was just about to kick his tail in our battle!

This coud have been all easily resolved if he would of just paid the toll?:(

Why do I feel that Vic had something to do with this! It seems we had the lowest banned rate on the net of maybe 1 in three years! Then this vic person shows up and we have post closed, and people banned in just one week! I feel there should be a lynching meeting to do something about this B**L S**T, and most people who know me, will be supprised to see me write this!
I am sorry if I afenned any wimp wristed so & so's. Maybe it is time for me to quit being nice and let my feelings on some of this be known!:mad:

May we know why GH was banned?!? What is going on? Did he porn spam? Did he just spam ads? What did he do? Is Doom next now? Maybe me, because I posted? Please tell us.

This forum has never been a problem...and compared to others, it's a paradise.

One thread ventured out of the "norm" (and just a little...nothing really major compared to other threads elsewhere) and it gets one vague warning...and then is locked down...and the members ID banned without an offical announcement? ( Gmenfan...can you validate that please )

I don't make a habit of being "snotty" with members of the Matrix moderating body...but I think this was one instance of authority being applied in overwhelming force in response to a minor violation. ( ie...a cop ticketing a driver for doing 40 in a 35...and then having the car towed when the owner objects)

Hope this doesn't get me banned from here...I love the games and the forum...but I think a great many of us feel that what happened here was an over-reaction bordering on powertrip.

Sorry if that is offensive to Vic or the Matrix Staff...just my two cents.

Maybe the mods recieved new ROE from the higher-ups in response to some other incident: we didn't change, the 'laws' did. That's the best I can come up with; I've read all of last week's threads again, and anyone would have trouble distinguishing them from posts of 6 weeks or 6 months ago.

Or maybe my seat's too close to the action for a good view.

I did enjoy a lot when I read all these "GH" threads and it was fun to follow those threads, and I completely agree with Orzel & the other guys, this is going to be ridiculous.
IMO, no one have been insulted seriously in these threads and Mod's are taking this too seriously:rolleyes:

I FIGURED IT OUT! Orzel's banner! Someone posted 'Jess we need you for the band' and one of the mods heard 'Jess needs to be banned'...a better cell phone or box of Q-Tips could have prevented this entire episode!

gmenfan asked what's up.....I don't know. First I heard of it. I asking the big guys now. Haven't heard anything yet.

I've been around forever.......been around since the SSI days with CC. Then MGO, GIC, Wargamer and now here.

The reason you haven't 'seen' me is most of my stuff is in certain development forums. Sheesh.

He's not banned in any way shape or form.

gmenfan....you can do the same thing. Go under the user profile, and then under 'administrative options' and look at the top field and view the selection group. The user is fine.

Still haven't heard from the big guys.....they're probably out barhopping again.

time will tell if my suspicions are justified....

if I seemed a bit "ruffled" in my thread about Vic responding too harshly on a forum thread and member.

Since we now know that there was no banning, I'll dine on my plate of crow for assuming the rumor was true before hearing from a Matrix Staff Member.

However, I still stick by my guns that the thread in question was locked down a bit hastily. But that is water under the bridge now...and it's time to move on.

This came all the way up to the top here. Goblin Hunter was never banned... But we are thinking of stipping M4 of his tracks..
