[Logged] 1147.28 Wingman not maintaining waypoint manual override altitudes during strike missions

In the following scenario, I have set altitude manual overrides (to 20,000 ft) in the strike mission for ingress, IP, and target waypoints.

In 1147.28
In the target area, the flight leader maintains the 20,000 ft manual override altitude, but the wingmen descend to very low level.

In 1147.25, all flight members stay at the 20,000 ft manual override altitude in the target area at all times. I believe that this is the desirable behavior.

The overall result in this example is the mission can be accomplished with fewer casualties with the AI behavior of the 1147.25 version relative to that of the 1147.28 version.

p.s.

The wingman also seem to ignore manual override from the F2 menu while in the target area.

As of 1147.34,

This seems fixed for the case where ingress, IP, and target waypoints are specified above sea level (ASL), as in the posted example. However, if one sets those three waypoints to be terrain following (AGL) instead of ASL, then the undesirable behavior that is described in the OP for 1147.28 reappears. Also, in the AGL-specified case, something automatically changes the 'ignore plotted course' doctrine for each individual aircraft, while the group and mission doctrine remains unchanged.
