Yes, it works perfectly with Crossover on my iMac 27 2019. Matrix version).

The Matrix launcher has currently some issues on Steam on Crossover

I couldn't get it to run on Crossover (v20.0.4) on my 2017 Macbook Pro (OS 10.14.2) though I'm not hugely experienced in using that but I just downloaded a demo of Parallels and it runs fine :)

Just an FYI:

I've been running all my favorite PC only war-games on Macs lately using Parallels and it works freakin great.

So much so that I finally ditched my old PC (2D wargaming was the only reason I kept it around).

The nice thing is, I can use that VM on my other Macs as well, as long as I have a licensed copy of Parallels.

In the past I've tried Wine and I can see how it *could* run really well, but it takes a lot of manual work to optimize stuff.
I've also tried other popular VMs, but as far as gaming goes, Parallels is the best.

* One other thing that worked almost as well as Parallels (and it's free) was using Microsoft Remote Desktop for Mac OS over ethernet connection on a home network.
